Do the lamps come with a light bulb?
Yes! All lamps comes with a paired light bulb
What types of bulbs do the lamps use?
Bulb Socket and Compatibility
All lamps use an E26/E27 socket, making them compatible with common household light bulbs.
Bulb Size and Temperature
Bulb size and warmth vary by lamp model. You can refer to the product page under Technical Specifications for details.
For example, lamps with the Lily and Wove lamp shades, which feature a shallower design, use a G40-shaped bulb, whereas Unni and Corset use an A19-shaped bulb.
Bulb Recommendations
We recommend using only G40-shaped bulbs for shallower lamp shades like the Lily and Wove lamp shades. Otherwise, the bulb may protrude from the lamp.
Safety Notice
All lamps must be used with LED bulbs only and should never be used with tungsten or other bulb types to prevent overheating.
Can I use a smart bulb?
Our lamps are compatible with most smart bulbs. As long as the smart bulb uses an E26/E27 socket, it will work with our lamps.
However, we still recommend using only G40-shaped bulbs for shallower lamp shades like the Lily and Wove lamp shades to prevent the bulb from protruding.
What is the return / exchange policy on the lamps?
All products except for Maju Misfits comes with 14 days return and 30 days exchange policy. Maju Misfits sales are final and sold as-is. For more info please visit https://maju.design/terms
My item arrived broken / never arrived
We strive to ensure that your order is delivered on time and in pristine condition. However, we understand that mishaps can occur during shipment—packages may get lost or damaged in transit.
If you have received a broken lamp or did not receive your package, email us at concierge@maju.design and include your order number, or reply to your order confirmation with details and photos of the damage. We will send a replacement or attempt to resolve the issue for you. Thank you for your patience and support.
MAJU Misfits
MAJU Misfits items may feature light blemishes as described on the product pages. The lamps are fully functional and should not be cracked, ripped, or broken. If you believe your lamp was damaged during transit, email us at concierge@maju.design with your order number or reply to your order confirmation with details and photos of the damage, and we will review the case.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet dawg, but we'd absolutely love to!! We currently only ship within USA and Singapore.
We just gotta get to scale. Right now it'll be too expensive to ship it internationally.

Where/ how is it made?
For the United States
The lamps are designed and made within the United States - San Francisco, California.
For Singapore
The lamps are designed and made locally in Singapore.
How it is made?
All lamps are 3D printed.
What material is the lamp made of?
Most of the lamps are made of either a biodegradable plant base material (PLA) or recyclable PETG.
The materials and fabrication techniques are precisely calibrated and selected to achieve a lightness that softly diffuses light, reminiscent of paper lanterns, but with a more robust and durable finish.
What does the versions mean?
On each product page, under Technical Specifications → Lamp System Version, you’ll find the lamp system version number.
This version indicates which lamps and bases are compatible.
- V1 lamp systems feature a 4-pronged mounting system
- V2 lamp systems feature a 3-pronged mounting system
For example, Version 1 shades are only compatible with Version 1 bases. V2 bases are incompatible with V1 shades.
Versions were introduced to allow us to continue improving our lamp designs while advancing our sustainability mission.
If the design permits, we can produce a lamp part that matches the version you own at no additional charge. Simply email us with your customization request, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it.
We do not foresee changes beyond Version 2.5 in the near future.
